Lady Gaga ain’t got nuthin’ on French artist Kimiko Yoshida. Her self portraits are the most elaborate, aggrandized and unusual works of art we’ve ever seen in this focus. Yoshida, French by way of Japan, constructs complex and abstract “clothing” that she wears, along with a black paint job, centered in front of the camera. By this technique, Yoshida’s own persona is central in the art she creates.
