This ground-breaking scent capturing printer designed for Sony by Chinese engineer Li Jing Xuan opens doors for methods of communication around the world. This small hand held machine uses its “electronic nose” to recognize patterns of particular odors and translate it onto a tangible postcard size paper. Aroma based inks are printed onto the special photo paper which can then be exposed by peeling back the flap tosmell the scent.
